The business was founded by 3 experienced property investors/developers in 2013, as a response to the lack of suitable finance options for small and medium sized property developers.

How are you funded?

We are funded by global investment managers, family offices, funds, high net worth individuals and private investors, giving us diverse sources of committed capital to support property developers - even in uncertain times, as proven with perfect reliability of capital throughout the pandemic. We underwrite the projects with no time-consuming second-tier underwriting by our capital sources.

How would you describe your approach to loan underwriting?

Our distinct ‘Property Finance by Property People’ positioning means we focus on what’s most important to developers – swift, transparent, reliable and expertise-based decisions giving developers we work with advantage in closing deals. Our underwriting process combines market-leading data and years of real-world, on-the-ground property development experience that ensures a depth of understanding of what the developer is trying to achieve, no matter how complex. We will consider developers with limited experience if they can demonstrate they have the passion, a robust plan, and the right people around them. Clearly the development needs to stack up too.
